Greatest Generation One Day Conference
09 April 2011

Markaz At-Tawheed Invites you to its First Ever One Day Conference!
Come and Learn about those Mountains of Faith who lived around the Messenger Muhammad (SAW).
Those people that Allah (SWT) praised in the following Verses:
“Indeed, Allah was pleased with the believers when they gave the Bai'ah (pledge) to you (O Muhammad, SAW) under the tree: He knew what was in their hearts, and He sent down As-Sakinah (calmness and tranquillity) upon them, and He rewarded them with a near victory.” [48:18]
"And the first to embrace Islam of the Muhajiroon (the Emigrants from Makkah) and the Ansar (the citizens of Al-Madeenah who helped the Muhajiroon) and also those who followed them exactly (in Faith). Allah is well-pleased with them as they are well pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme success." [9:100]
The Final Messenger Muhammad (SAW) said about them:
"The best people are those living in my generation, and then those who will follow them, and then those who will follow the latter.” [Al-Bukhari]
"Do not abuse my Companions, for if any of you were to spend gold equal to (the mountain of) Uhud in charity, it would not equal a handful of one of them or even half of that" [Al-Bukhari, Muslim].
